Fans went nuts as Lin Dan remained perfect in All England finals, winning the All England championships by denying compatriot World No. 8 Tian Houwei 21-9, 21-10 in the final.

After winning the German Open last Sunday, and by capturing the All-England title this week, Lin Dan proved that he has plenty fuel left in his tank for winning an unprecedented third Olympic gold medal this summer in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

“Although I am already 32 years old, but I still want to show everyone that I can still do it!” said Lin Dan.

In women’s doubles, Japan’s No. 3 seeds Misaki Matsutomo/Ayaka Takahashi saw off Tang Yuanting/Yu Yang (F) of China, winning 21-10, 21-12 in 47 minutes to lift their first ever women’s doubles All England title.

Praveen Jordan/Debby Susanto of Indonesia continued their strong run of form by out-playing their Denmark opponents Joachim Fischer Nielsen/Christinna Pedersen 21-12, 21-17 to become the second Indonesian mixed doubles pair ever to win the All England. Indonesian pair Tontowi Ahmad/Lilyana Natsir had won the All-England title in three consecutive years, from 2012 to 2014.
