Kuala Lumpur: Social media was going dark for Blackout Tuesday as badminton stars around the world including Viktor Axelsen, Carolina Marin, Michelle Li, Gronya Somerville, Kim Astrup, Anders Antonsen, and Yang Po Han participated in a viral social media trend dubbed “Blackout Tuesday”.

These badminton players posted black images on their Instagram pages to show solidarity against police brutality towards black people in the aftermath of George Floyd’s death.
